Greater Glory In You
Tuesday, December 30, 2025, Mentoring
From Lance Wallnau (Christmas from another angle)
- The Christmas narrative from Matthew gives the genealogy of Jesus to show his legitimacy.
- It was prophesied that the Messiah will be from the lineage of David, and a king forever.
- Ahab & Jezebel’s daughter, Athaliah, married the King of Judea, Johoram, hoping to join the northern tribes and the southern tribes.
- When her husband died, her son Ahaziah became king. He was killed in a war. The queen Athaliah took over the throne and set out to kill off the descendants of David. She had all the relatives murdered, even her own grandchildren. However, a servant hid Joash in the temple for 6 years. When he was 6, the high priest brought him out and ordered the priests (soldiers) to guard the child and kill Athaliah in the temple. Thus, the line of David was preserved up to the time of Jesus.
Be Ready for the Greater Glory
- The men are called to lead the prayer for revival. They will have a mantle of authority.
- Own the new mantle
- Carry the red cape of my blood as your mantle.
- Only enter the bull arena when you’re ready to defeat the opponent until the end.
- Stand in righteousness. Pray what I want you to pray. I will deliver.
- Let your endurance grow stronger. Ask God for wisdom.
- Breakthrough comes out of worship. Delayed breakthroughs will come.
- There is a glory in Expect a greater glory.
- Review what you know. Be honest! You need to know what you don’t
- Where there is no glory, a curse is at work.
- Satan can only use his resources that you won’t let go of. (What are you holding on to)
- God wants to restore the glory He put in you.
- Breakthrough is postponed by sin.
- God pours grace on your mess.
- Jesus paid the price for you to shine. He originally knit you together
- Something is going to change.
- Break discouragement.
- Break Disinterest.
- Break Disillusionment.
- Get ready to get out of captivity.
- Expect a greater glory. Something you never had unlocked and you never stepped into.
- Everything Jesus did, displayed His glory. Raising Lazarus displayed His glory.
- Expect multiplication and harvest ahead.
Lord, cause me to expect the greater glory.
