Receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior gives us the ability to make changes.  It is NOT the change itself.  We need to get into position to receive the blessings of God.  Seeking fulfillment through other sources is idolatry.  Education, family, sports, drugs, alcohol, food, and money cannot fill our spiritual, physical, mental, or emotional needs and desires.  Only God can.

Just like a box of cake mix, we have all the ingredients we need to fulfill the destiny packed inside us.  We need to add a few things and go through the process.  Add Water of the Word, and oil of the anointing. Be yoked (eggs) with Jesus, be mixed at medium speed with faith, then be baked in fire of the Holy Spirit for a period of time.  The baking is necessary.

Satan does not want your stuff or your life.  He wants your worship.  Worship means to look to that ONE for everything.  Your worship gives power to whomever you are worshiping.  God’s power in your life increases through your worship.  Satan’s power in your life increases through your worship of him.  If you look to evil things to give you power, you will have more evil power.

Satan does not come between you and God.  Your sin of disobedience comes between you and God, therefore Satan will do his best to get you to sin.  He, himself cannot come between you and God.  He has been thrown out of the presence of God.  He would be wiped out by God’s holiness if he crossed God’s path.  Satan uses us as human shields to get his dirty work done on earth.  We are able to be in God’s presence because of His Blood and mercy.

We are supposed to be Holy not holey.  The way to plug up the holes is through the Blood of Jesus by repentance and forgiveness.  Repentance and forgiveness gives us the righteousness of Jesus.

We must activate what’s in us to move toward our destiny.  It is NOT automatic.  If you make bad choices along the way, all is not lost if you repent and get back on track.  It may take you longer but you CAN get back on track.  God is faithful.  He is more ready and eager for you to fulfill your destiny than you are.  His plans are for good and not for evil.
